Ascension

General Setting

Ascension takes place in the fantasy world of Gaia. A world made of two parts – those of science and those of religion. Magic is present to an extent, with those of the Church able to invoke the powers of the Gods readily. However, there are a very select few who possess the ability to use magic without the Gods favor are seen as abominations. They are hunted by the Church for blasphemy, and also feared by those who favor Science.
